Hello there! My name is Leanne Chin and I am a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator based in NYC.

I’m passionate in learning and telling the stories of real people that I meet through the means of sports, education, and entertainment.

My time at Drexel University was spent studying User Experience and Interaction Design with a minor in Environmental Communications. I had a well-rounded education in learning what it means to create all-inclusive technological interfaces while also learning about how to properly conduct research to learn about the needs that people need, and don’t see themselves.

Outside of my studies, I found a passion for marketing and graphic design through help of Drexel’s Campus Activities Board. I credit the people that I met there who allowed me to learn and fall in love with the world of marketing. Whether it was through talking to students through our ticketing window, designing posters for events, and volunteering to host events, it helped me appreciate the world in which to communicate with people.

Shortly after my time at Drexel University, I was lucky to have worked with The Walt Disney World Company as a Disney College Program Merchandising Intern at The World of Disney. Working on the ground at The Walt Disney Company’s largest store in the world helped me learn and solidify that fast-paced and high-pressure environments are places that I thrive and enjoy surrounding myself with.

The last few years, I returned to NYC and started work at Chelsea Piers, a place that helps foster a new generation of athletes each year. Each day I learn about the abundance of stories behind not only our young athletes, but the coaches and staff who foster these talents, and turn them into stories for everyone else to see. Hoping to inspire others, whether they are stumbling upon our social pages or frequent our doors.
